Margaret Hennig was born in 1949 in Cape Town, South Africa. She studied art & design at the Port Elizabeth Technikon and has been involved in designing and making clothing for film and theatre. She began working in collage in 1986 as a medium of expression, out of which developed her "stories in pictures". Margaret has exhibited in South Africa, Germany, Holland and Switzerland. She also designs book covers and lives and works in Switzerland.
